Have Horse Will Travel
For many years Jill & Rupert ran South Downs Equestrian from Newbrook Farm, Upper Beeding in West Sussex, at the foot of the beautiful South Downs and in the Adur Valley. The location attracted riders of all ages and capabilities who were riding the South Downs Way and was an ideal stopping-off place. Many a horse has enjoyed the luxury of a warm bed at Newbrook Farm, although their owners tended to opt for a local B&B establishment!
Some of our early guests were brought to us by Emma Getliffe who, with her many years experience in the travel industry, was just beginning to develop an exciting new concept in holidays for horse and rider. Today Emma and her husband Charles are running a highly successful tour operation company specialising in riding holidays throughout the World.
Jill & Rupert have now moved on from Newbrook Farm and are concentrating on The School of Equine Shiatsu which operates from a number of beautiful locations throughout West Sussex, and from their own lecture/treatment facility north of Worthing.
Because we feel that many of Emma’s clients will have an interest in enhancing their relationship with their horse through the gentle art of shiatsu, and our students will be interested in seeing different parts of the World on the back of a horse, we have agreed to extend our long relationship by providing a link to Emma’s web-site.
